Every year, millions of babies are born into crisis—facing war, disaster, or displacement. For premature and low-birth-weight newborns, one of the greatest threats to survival is simple: staying warm.
In the first hours of life, hypothermia can lead to respiratory failure, infection, and death. But in conflict zones and disaster areas, hospitals may be destroyed or powerless—leaving no way to keep fragile babies warm.
This spring, we’re launching our Emergency Response Campaign to ensure that when crisis strikes, Embrace can respond within 72 hours.
Our goal: raise $100,000 by Mother’s Day to fund and deploy portable, electricity-independent incubators to the hardest-hit regions.

ABOUT EMBRACE
Embrace Global is a nonprofit (501c3) organization with a mission to provide our portable incubators to give the most vulnerable babies a fighting chance—no matter where they’re born. To date, we have helped over 790,000 babies in 25 countries, with a goal to save 1 million babies by the end of 2025.
Our incubators help to regulate the body temperature without the need for constant electricity, and complement skin-to-skin care. The core of our technology is an innovative phase-change-material, incorporated into a sleeping bag design. Once heated, it maintains a constant temperature of 98°F for up to six hours. Each incubator can be reused hundreds of times.
Embrace incubators are currently being used in numerous emergency relief efforts, including in Ukraine, Syria, Armenia, Yemen, Gaza, and Haiti, where they are being distributed by UNICEF, Project Hope, IMC, CARE, and other nonprofit partners on the ground. They are also being used in low-resource settings across India and Africa.
